1. Who we are

PornSocial (“the App”) is an Android application that helps you search and browse public creator profiles and related content across third‑party websites. The App is distributed via this site and other channels. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the App.

2. Age and sensitive content

The App is intended only for adults (typically 18+ or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). It may display adult-oriented material. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

3. Information the App processes

Depending on how you use the App, the following may be processed:

• Search queries and browsing activity inside the App — to show you results and suggestions. Some requests may be sent to our backend or third‑party services to fetch public pages or metadata.
• Favorites you save — stored locally on your device (not on our servers unless we explicitly add sync in a future version).
• Device and app technical data — such as app version, coarse network conditions, or error logs, as needed to operate features (e.g. optional background tasks, update checks).
• Optional distributed computing (Gridflow) — if you accept the in‑app disclosure, the App may contribute limited network / device resources to distributed tasks initiated by our infrastructure, in line with the Gridflow service rules. You can stop this by not accepting or by uninstalling the App.
• App updates — the App may check a public manifest on this site to offer APK updates; this may reveal your IP address to the hosting provider (e.g. GitLab Pages) as with any HTTPS request.

4. Third-party services and advertising

The App may load third-party websites (e.g. in a WebView) and advertising content where configured. Those services have their own privacy practices and may use cookies, identifiers, or analytics. We do not control their data collection. Review their policies if you interact with their sites or ads.

5. Permissions

The App may request permissions such as Internet (required for network features) and, when applicable, install packages (to apply updates you choose to install). Permissions are used only as needed for the described features.

6. Data retention and security

Data stored on your device remains under your control until you clear app data or uninstall the App. We apply reasonable measures to protect information processed by our backend, but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. EEA/UK), you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For requests related to data we hold as a controller, contact us at the email below. Many features rely on local storage on your device — you can clear it in Android settings.

8. International transfers

If you use the App from outside the country where servers are hosted, your information may be transferred and processed in other countries where privacy laws may differ.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
